I did not really care for this book. On rating it would
be a 2. I realize there are others who will enjoy this
The Confessions of Xliterary novel. There is too much description about
everything and the use of a few words bothered me
as well as the seeming acceptance of Augustine and
his concubine's relationship. I'm aware that it was true and they parted ways much later. I'm glad he later came to know the Lord and served the Lord the rest of his life.
